It’s time to get creative for our Community.
Building Futures is first and foremost a community organization, and it is clear that it is time to get creative on how we connect. We have been closely monitoring and evaluating our options in order to uphold our mission of providing hands-on experiences to all while also keeping our team, families, and community safe in an effort to help reduce the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
For the safety of all, we have temporarily discontinued all in-person Building Futures Workshop programming, In-School programming, and events. We are instead using this time to innovate, explore, collaborate, and find unique ways to provide resources for our youth.
On March 23rd, we will be releasing a Building Futures Resource Center containing videos, project packets (printable and digital), illustrated creation prompts, and exciting tools to encourage engagement, creation, and building during this time. Until then, we will share project ideas, what we are up to, and useful things we are watching and making on our social media!
If you would like to support Building Futures’ efforts during this time, we welcome all donations big or small.
You can easily donate by visiting https://building-futures.org/donate/. We also encourage our partners and those interested to join this effort. Have a project idea to share? Have resources that can help? Let us know! This is how we can come together.
We deeply appreciate all the efforts of those working unendingly for our community at this time. No matter the situation, let’s continue to build for better and brighter futures for St. Louis Youth.
